CircularBlades – From Wind to Future
    The company

    About CircularBlades

CircularBlades – often written «Circular Blades» – is a Swiss company based in Lucerne. We give decommissioned wind turbine blades a second life: as bus shelters, bike stands, info parks and street furniture for municipalities.

    How it started

Thousands of tonnes of rotor blades are dismantled every year. The material is extremely strong, weather-resistant and built to last decades – yet most of it is incinerated. Founder Marcel Jost turned that into an idea: instead of destroying the material, use it in its existing shape. The result are components more robust than conventional solutions – and around 38 % more affordable.

    Our mission

Make the circular economy visible. Every CircularBlades object tells the story of its material – with a digital product passport, traceable origin and a transparent CO₂ footprint.
